We are looking for a motivated PLC engineer / automation engineer - SPS-Programmierer / Automatisierungsingenieur (m/w/d), to join our team in Neustadt am Rbge - Hannover Region
Responsibilities at a Glance
- Maintenance and optimization of our production systems
- Creation of PLC programs for our technical machines**, including** interface programming and data integration
- Visualization for operation and diagnostics of the machines
- Conducting functional tests
- Troubleshooting and commissioning of complex machines
- Managing technical aspects with suppliers and project partners
- Construction and implementation of system architectures in industrial automation
- Providing support to our sister companies in North America and Estonia
The PLC engineer / automation technology (m/f/d) should have the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, or advanced training as a technician in one of these fields
- Strong understanding of complex tasks and technical machinery
- Experience in automation technology (e.g., PC-based control systems, SCADA, visualization, and PLC systems)
- Proficiency in working with Siemens S7 / STEP 7, WinCC, TIA Portal, or similar systems
- Good command of both written and spoken German and English, with a particular emphasis on verbal communication in English
- Self-motivation, independence, and a strong team-oriented mindset
- At least some practical experience, such as internships, student jobs, or similar roles
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 40%)
- A valid Class B driver’s license
